Whenever a property comes up for sale, it first goes into the MLS. The MLS then distributes that information to all the online websites such as Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin, to name a few. However, when there are updates -- such as a property going under contract, or an Open House -- it is usually only the MLS that will feature these updates.
