Venice is a residential, commercial, and recreational neighborhood, known for its bohemian and artistic spirit, and its world famous boardwalk and beach. Abbot Kinney Boulevard has become a very upscale area of restaurants, boutiques, and galleries, and the surrounding residential condos, townhomes, and single family homes have appreciated accordingly. True to its name, Venice also has many canals, around which have been built many luxurious residences. And away from the water, there are many quaint tree-lined streets, full of lesser priced single and multi family homes ("lesser" being a relative term!).
